Community News - Broadband absorber with controllable transmission window

Research has been published describing an optical absorber that allows controllable transmission in a sub-band. The paper, "Plasmonic Metamaterials and Nanocomposites with the Narrow Transparency Window Effect in Broad Extinction Spectra", was publiched in ACS Photonics and uses nano-rods and nano-crosses of various sizes to achieve the desired operation.
